BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Medical workers at Ochsner Baton Rouge got their second coronavirus vaccine Tuesday.
It’s been three weeks since they got the first one. Ochsner was one of the first stops in the nation for the new vaccine.
“It was pretty uneventful,” said Brandon Weeks, a family medicine physician. “I had the shots three weeks ago today and really just arm soreness for two days. I didn’t have to take Tylenol ibuprofen. I put a ice pack on it. It was really minor.”
The Louisiana Department of Health is encouraging those who have received the vaccine to record and report any changes in their body as symptoms as they can be different from person to person.
